If you are looking for fun, excitement, affection, loyalty, love and intelligence, then Cody is your dog. This seven month-old puppy abounds with energy, curiosity and a “what do we do now attitude”.
Cody is very playful, friendly and loves everyone including other dogs, but is not sure about cats. He seems curious about cats and with proper introduction will be good with them. Cody is very good natured with an aptitude to please which will help him with his basic training. He will need an owner who can be calm, but firm in teaching Cody how to walk on a leash as well as other basic training requirements. Cody loves to get your attention by jumping on his handler, but is learning that that is not appropriate behavior. As with all puppies, he will need patience and gentle guidance to become the great companion that we know he can be. He is housebroken as long as he has a doggy door.
Cody listens well and wants to do the right thing and just needs a gentle soul that will guide him through his puppy and adolescent years. Cody will make a great companion and will need lots of play time to help him work off his energy.
Cody will do well with children seven and older who are respectful of pets.
