Fergie is a playful, active and intelligent one-year-old with lots of enthusiasm. She is extremely alert and abounds with energy to spare for daily walks and runs.
Fergie will need a confident handler who is firm, but gentle and extremely consistent as an authority figure. She is very young and will need training and socialization with other dogs. Fergie will be loyal and devoted and true to her Shar-Pei genes, she will bond with her family and make a delightful companion and watch dog.
Fergie is learning to walk on a leash and listen to commands by her handler. She will be very peaceful indoors if given the appropriate amount of daily walks. She will do well with an active family and children over the age of ten who are respectful of pets.
