Fritz is a very friendly little guy who is alert, inquisitive, active and very independent. He needs a firm, but gentle hand that lets him know he is not the pack leader to his humans. If properly introduced, he can get along with other dogs and animals. Although Fritz would make a good watch dog, he needs consistent training not to bark excessively.
Fritz loves being held or siting on your lap, but watch out for kisses as he loves to give them. A great agility dog, Fritz excels in performing tricks and will show you how he can jump through a hoop three feet off the ground. His double coat requires frequent brushing and he needs daily walks to work off some of his high energy. Fritz would do well in a home with well-behaved children, seven and older, who are respectful of pets.
