Charming Molly is mild tempered and easy going with an affectionate, gentle, loving nature. Her heritage may be from the American Fox Hound group which was bred for purposes of competition in field trails and fox hunting. This breed was bred to run so they do well on farms or in rural areas. Molly would be fine in a smaller area with owners who provide her with adequate exercise. She enjoys walks and listens to her handler, but is young and will require an owner willing to provide training and structure.
Molly will make a wonderful active companion and is friendly with most everyone. She seems a little tentative with men and children, but with time, love and patience would overcome that hurdle. She is friendly with other dogs if appropriately introduced and could be with cats with time and training.
The ideal family would be patient, affectionate, easy-going, enjoy long walks, playing games with her and desire a close companion. Molly will be good with children twelve and over.
