News from Buster

Greetings from what has now been dubbed "The BBQ Gang" — Buddy, Buster & Queenie

Well, here we are again, writing another note of thanks about my second experience of adopting another "fur-family" member.

Buster, (formerly Spooner), has been able to fit right in with the rest of the family. He is a good little guy, who knows how to walk on a leash and loves to be on your lap and is glued to your side, no matter what.

Buster and Queenie
Buster is very happy to be reunited with his old roomy – Queenie (formerly Cherish). She cleans his face every evening. They sleep together, play together and Buster has all but stopped growling when Buddy, (the cat), hops on the bed at night. They have all been playing and eating together as well.

Buster does not like using the harness when walking, so we've reverted back to his collar. He doesn't pull on the leash, but is a little gentleman, walking close to my right leg. He doesn't bark when he see's another dog on our walks, but Queenie makes up for it. In fact, I think I've only heard Buster bark once or twice, when someone walked by HIS front door. He's very protective of his new home.

Buster does not like to go Bye Bye in the car. He pretty much cried all the way home from Living Free, which is about an hour and a half ride. I will start taking him on short rides around my neighborhood to get him used to going for a ride since I take the fur-kids nearly everywhere I go. We will be getting a 2 passenger FidoRido for them to share on our outings.

Thank you all for giving me this opportunity to share in the lives of Queenie and Buster. They are certainly becoming the joys of my life along with their brother, Buddy.

God Bless you all.

Sharon
