About the event
Rattlesnakes are a natural part of our local ecosystem, and encounters can happen while hiking, walking trails, or even in your own backyard. Rattlesnake aversion training helps teach dogs to recognize and avoid the sight, sound, and scent of a rattlesnake, helping reduce the risk of a dangerous encounter.
This professionally led training introduces dogs to these cues in a safe, controlled setting so they learn to move away from the threat. Each dog participates in a brief, individual training session designed to reinforce avoidance behavior.
